While the national media would have you believe that the bottom has fallen out of the housing market, Cornwall is, as ever, weathering the storm.

Homes of character and distinction are, as always, very much in demand. In late 2009 we saw more people registering their interest with us and actively looking to buy than at any previous time.
No longer is the county considered simply a place for a weekend getaway. After all, why fester in a city office when you can run your business just as successfully with the Atlantic Ocean as your backdrop?
It’s a question more and more people are asking themselves and our own sales figures prove that more and more families are finding that moving their main home to Cornwall is the answer.
Quality of life is what living in this county is all about and the advent of broadband technology has made working from home not only possible but highly desirable.
It’s the chance to get that live/work balance right that makes a home in Cornwall such an attractive prospect, and it’s one of the reasons why our property market is insulated from the dips and troughs that frequently cause such misery elsewhere in Britain.
The purchase of a home in Cornwall has always been a sound and safe investment. We have no reason at all to predict that it’s likely to change.
